Step 1: Sign Up for AutoTextify

To start, create a free AutoTextify account by signing up on the website. You can use your email or sign in through Google or other social media platforms. Once registered, you can access all the essential features, including creating and managing snippets.

Step 2: Install AutoTextify Extension

You can install the extension straight from this page: https://autotextify.com/download

After installation, pin it to your browser for easy access.

AutoTexify currently supports Google Chrome. In the future, we will support other web browsers.

Step 3: Create a New Snippet

Navigate to the AutoTextify dashboard.

Click on "Snippet Library".

Click on "Add Snippet" on the top left corner.

Customize your snippet by providing a unique name and shortcut abbreviations.

You can also add dynamic variables to make your snippet adaptable.

Click on "Save" and your shortcut is good to use.

Step 4: Use Snippets in Any Text Area

Open any text area where you want to use a snippet (e.g., email, social media, messaging, etc.).

Enter the created shortcut abbreviation.

The snippet will be expanded into the text field automatically.

Step 5: Organize Snippets with Folders

AutoTextify allows you to manage your snippets with folders. Create different folders to categorize your snippets by type or purpose, such as "Work Emails," "Customer Support," or "Marketing Content," for quick and easy access.

Step 6: Share Snippets with Your Team

Go to the "Folders" section.

Select the snippet or folder you want to share.

Click on "Invite".

Enter the email address of the person you want to invite. You can also invite with role-based access.

Step 7: Explore More Features

Beyond basic snippet creation, AutoTextify offers advanced features like dynamic variables and team-wide snippet libraries. Dive deeper into these functionalities to improve your workflow and optimize team collaboration.
